In today’s world, we upgrade everything, our phones, our skills, even our identities online. But there’s one thing we rarely question: who we actually are.
Look at your own life. You’ve had a child’s body, a teenager’s body, and now an adult body. Every cell has changed, your thoughts have evolved, your roles have shifted. Yet something constant has remained. The same “I” that experienced childhood is still present today.
This is where ancient wisdom becomes surprisingly relevant.
You are not the body. You are the conscious self, the observer, the experiencer, the unchanging awareness behind all the change.
This isn’t just philosophy. It explains why external success alone never fully satisfies us. If we were only physical beings, material upgrades would be enough. But they’re not.
Because at our core, we are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience.
In an age of artificial intelligence and digital identity, rediscovering our real identity is not outdated, it’s essential.
Many thoughtful people today aren’t rejecting spirituality. They’re rejecting unclear, outdated, or dogmatic presentations of it.
So let’s ask a practical question: why seek God at all?
We seek these through career, relationships, achievements, and experiences. And while these bring value, they don’t fully satisfy the depth of what we’re looking for.
Because these desires are unlimited, and temporary things cannot fully satisfy unlimited desires.
The Vedic tradition introduces a powerful idea: what we’re actually seeking is a relationship with the ultimate source of happiness, meaning, and love.
Krishna is not presented as a distant authority, but as a deeply personal, all-attractive being. The word “Krishna” literally means “the one who attracts all.”
If there is a source of all beauty, intelligence, strength, and love, then connecting with that source is the most natural and fulfilling thing we can do.
Spiritual life, then, is not about blind belief. It’s about reconnecting with the deepest reality of who we are and where we come from.
We live in one of the most advanced times in history. AI is transforming industries. Information is instantly accessible. Opportunities are everywhere.
And yet, anxiety, burnout, loneliness, and conflict are at all-time highs.
Because we’ve optimized the external world, but neglected the internal one.
At the root of both personal stress and societal conflict is a simple but profound misalignment: we identify ourselves primarily as physical beings competing in a limited world.
When identity is based only on the body and mind, everything feels threatened.
Spiritual practice addresses this at the root.
Practices like mantra meditation, especially the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra, help quiet the mind, reduce anxiety, and reconnect us with a deeper sense of self.
In a fast-moving, high-pressure world, spirituality is not an escape. It’s a stabilizing force.
It helps us live with clarity, purpose, and genuine peace, while fully engaging with our responsibilities in family and professional life.
A person accidentally gave an incorrect account number for his salary credits. Then when he went to withdraw the money, there wasn’t any... That’s why all funds transfer applications like ACH, Zelle etc., ask you to verify account...
- False identification is like using an incorrect account
number...
the
excessive amount of time we spend in earning money, maintaining our relations, beautifying
our body - is all spending effort on a “temporary” account
which will end one day, we cannot take any of it when we pass on!
- So then, what is the correct account?
Realize that you are “atma” who is just in this body, has these relations and
possessions for this lifetime - much like a car that you have leased. So yes, by all means
you will take care of the car you leased, change its oil, fill quality gas,
drive it safely - but you will not get too attached to it, as one day you’ll upgrade.
Therefore, make investment in the correct account i.e. benefit of the eternal - Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of God Head and your atma... in the following pages I will show you how!
