Kenya is where I first developed a relationship with Krishna Consciousness...
This supreme science was thus received through the chain of disciplic succession...
Life comes from Life.
My goal is to help you solve every problem with Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.
His Grace Sri Madana Gopāla Dāsa possesses a unique cultural background that often intrigues those he meets. Although he has lived in the United States since his college years and speaks with a predominantly American accent, his Kenyan roots remain a distinctive part of his identity. Born and raised in Kenya, he emigrated to the States in 1993, bringing with him a rich heritage that bridges three continents.
His spiritual trajectory was set at the age of 14 during a formative family trip to Mumbai. Due to an unexpected flight delay, Sri Madana Gopāla and his grandmother were hosted by the airline at a hotel near the Juhu ISKCON temple. It was here that a chance encounter with a book distributor introduced him to the teachings of His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivendanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder-ācārya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

H.H. Satsvarupa das Goswami is a writer, artist and spiritual master in the Gaudiya Vaisnava sampradaya. He is one of the first disciples of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known in the Western countries as the Hare Krishna movement.
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977), the founder - acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), was the foremost proponent and teacher of Krishna consciousness—devotional service to the Supreme Person, Krishna—of the late twentieth century.
Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura (1874–1936), the spiritual master of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, was a lifelong celibate and a powerful teacher of Bhakti. He was extremely intelligent and excelled in math, astronomy, Sanskrit, and other languages. The University of Calcutta offered him a chair, but he declined so that he could dedicate his life to continuing the spiritual work of his father, Bhaktivinoda Thakura.

Investment Banker? Husband/Wife? Parent? White? Indian? 48 years old?
So what happens when you get divorced? or retire or laid-off? Grow older? Children grow up, move out and do not need you? Life challenges us, because of our “false identification” with our body and these roles we play. Why false?
Our body and roles we play have changed throughout our life. Both these can be taken away without any notice (e.g., car accident, layoff from job etc.) and therefore are temporary. Basing our identity and happiness on something temporary is like building a house on unstable ground with no foundation.
So what’s permanent? Its Lord Krishna - the supreme personality of god head. His infinitesimal portion resides in us as “atma” - and that NEVER dies. Just like we discard clothes (or cars) at the end of their useful lives (or when we get bored, and they no longer serve our needs)...
